Sergio Ramos, the central defender of Sevilla, expressed his concern about the issue of racism in Spanish football after the match against Getafe (1-0). Interestingly, it was Ramos himself, celebrating his birthday, who scored the winning goal against the Madrid team.

During the game, fans of the opposing team insulted Sevilla player Marcos Acuña and the team's head coach, Kike Sanchez Flores, on racial grounds. Ramos stated that such individuals should be punished and deprived of the right to attend stadiums in order to cleanse the image of football.

"With this type of people, we need to put an end and prohibit them from coming to stadiums. This is necessary to clean up the image of football," - Ramos was quoted by DAZN.

During the match, Getafe fans chanted "monkey" towards Acuña and also chanted "gypsy" towards Flores. Vinícius Júnior, a winger for Real Madrid, also expressed support for Acuña and Kike Sanchez Flores.
