Ramos has rejected an offer from an American club
Despite the abundance of offers, former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos is finding it difficult to find a new club. Earlier, the Spaniard rejected an offer from Brazilian Vasco da Gama, and now the player is not suited to a North American club.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the 38-year-old defender was interested in the services of the new MLS franchise San Diego, which will start competing in 2025. Still, Ramos rejected the American club's offer.
Exactly like he rejected offers from clubs in England, France, Italy, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, but they all failed to suit the defender for various reasons. Some have failed to fulfil Ramos' financial requirements and some are not willing to give him the role in the team that he wants.
Fortunately for the defender himself, he is not restricted by the closing of the transfer window in the leagues, as he is a free agent and therefore can find a team at any time.
