Ronaldo feels he has lost his authority within the team.
Details: According to The Touchline, 40-year-old Al Nassr winger Cristiano Ronaldo is seriously considering terminating his contract following a clash with the club's management.
The main reason for such a drastic step appears to be Ronaldo's perception that he has allegedly lost his influence in the squad and that the top brass of the Saudi Pro League no longer value his opinion.
The conflict reportedly began over disagreements about the transfer policy of Saudi clubs, with Ronaldo believing that other teams receive more financial support than Al Nassr.
Yesterday, it was also reported that Ronaldo left Saudi Arabia and flew home to Portugal.
This season, Ronaldo has played 22 matches for Al Nassr, scoring 18 goals and providing 3 assists. His current contract with the Saudi giants runs until 2027.
