Vinicius Junior's press conference before the match between the Brazilian national team and Spain ended quite differently than expected.

The journalists' incessant questions about racism had worn down the Real Madrid star to the point where he couldn't hold back his tears.

“I’m sorry. I just want to play football, do everything for my club and my family, never see black people suffering”, – Vinicius said.

“I have never thought about leaving Spain, because that would be giving the racists what they want. I'm not going to leave the best club in the world”.

The 23-year-old winger has recently become a regular victim of racism from fans during away matches, particularly notable incidents occurring during matches against Valencia and Atletico Madrid.

In 28 matches across all competitions this season, Vinicius has scored 18 goals and provided 8 assists.
