In the seventh round of the UEFA EURO 2024 qualification, a rescheduled match took place between Israel and Switzerland.
In the first half, the Swiss dominated on the football field and managed to score twice. However, the first goal was disallowed after a VAR review. In the 36th minute, Ruben Vargas scored a goal that the referees allowed.
After the break, the initiative shifted more to Israel, and they were able to salvage the match. In the 88th minute, Sean Weissman equalized, securing one point for the Israelis.
Israel is in third place in Group I with 12 points, while Switzerland leads the group with 16 points.
