According to press reports, Pyramids FC are looking to offload a number of their players in preparation for the upcoming season after the team succeeded in being crowned Champions League champions for the 2024-2025 season.

The first decision the African champions made regarding the departure of one of their players was for Nigerian player Siddiq Ojola, who promised to buy his contract from Ceramica Cleopatra or even renew his loan deal with the club.

The midfielder didn't perform to his potential last season, making just 25 appearances for the club in all competitions, creating five goals and scoring five more.

Islam Issa left the team along with South African Fagrie Lakay after Ceramica Cleopatra decided to activate his buy-out clause at the request of the team's technical director.
