Just days before the 35th TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, PUMA has unveiled a newly renovated community football pitch in Casablanca. The Basket 3x3 Maarif ground has been transformed into the PUMA Playground of African Football, with new goals, a resurfaced pitch, painted walls and a Moroccan-inspired design by local artists.

Located near key football districts, the pitch has long been a gathering place for young players and is now set to become a hub for sport and creativity.

To mark the reopening, PUMA will host youth workshops on December 19 and a 5v5 street tournament on December 20.

Peter Dangl said the goal is to bring football “back to the places where football truly lives… the neighborhoods,” while giving youth “visibility and opportunities.”
