PSG ultras have decided to boycott the French Super Cup match against Lens. According to RMC Sport, the largest Parisian supporter group, Collectif Ultras Paris (CUP), will not travel to Lens for the encounter scheduled for August 16 at the Bollaert-Delelis stadium.

The protest stems from the choice of venue. CUP is opposed to the match being held on a non-neutral ground. Additionally, the ultras are dissatisfied with the ticket allocation, believing that the stadium does not guarantee a fair distribution of seats for both sets of fans.

As a result, PSG risks being left without the passionate backing of its main fan group in this crucial trophy match.

It’s worth noting that the showdown with Lens will be PSG’s second trophy match in just a few days. First, the team will play in the UEFA Super Cup against Aston Villa, then travel to Lens for the clash with the French Cup winners.

Recall that in the previous edition of the French Super Cup, PSG claimed the trophy by defeating Marseille on January 8, 2026, in Kuwait. Now, the Parisians will defend their title on home soil, but this time without a significant part of their traditional support in the stands.
