Parisians took advantage of this setback. Towards the end of the first half, Usman Dembélé scored in response, narrowing the deficit to 4-3.

After the break, PSG continued to press Barcelona's goal relentlessly. In the 54th minute, Verratti's beautiful strike from outside the box put PSG ahead in the game and leveled the aggregate score at 4-4. A few minutes later, another mistake by Barcelona led to a penalty. Kylian Mbappé converted the penalty kick, making it 3-1. The French talent sealed the match with his fourth goal in the 89th minute, sending PSG to the semi-finals.

This marks PSG's third appearance in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in their history, and for the first time, they advanced after losing at home.
