Following the departure of Gonçalo Ramos, PSG has launched an active search for a new central striker.
Details: According to Santi Aouna, one of the main candidates highly regarded within the Parisian club is American forward Folarin Balogun. However, the battle for the striker promises to be fierce: Tottenham has already made him their top target, while Chelsea is also showing serious interest in the player.
In addition to strengthening their attacking line, PSG's management is working on reinforcing other positions in the squad. The Parisians are also interested in Yan Diomande and midfielder Magnes Akliouche.
It seems PSG's leadership has decided to bet on a radical rejuvenation and qualitative overhaul of the squad following Ramos's sale. The club aims to address all problematic areas before the season kicks off to remain competitive both domestically and on the international stage.
It's worth noting that Balogun is currently making a real impact at the World Cup, already scoring two goals in two matches. Transfermarkt values the player at 40 million euros.
Reminder: PSG has signed Milan's goalkeeper.
