World No. 1 Iga Świątek reflected on her performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she won the bronze medal.

"It was quite intense and challenging. But I’m happy that I was able to leave Paris with a medal and with a lot of knowledge about myself. The most important thing for me was to learn from this experience. I’m proud of myself and happy that I managed to handle all the pressure and still earn a medal. It wasn’t like a regular tournament, of course," Świątek shared.

"I literally felt after the Olympics that I needed to kind of reset and just focus on getting my technique back and honing it on the court. This is the perfect place to do that. It feels a bit less crazy, but on the other hand, even before the tournament, there are many people and many fans. So you still feel that it’s an important event," she added.

Świątek is set to return to the court tomorrow, August 15, at the Cincinnati tournament, where she will face Varvara Gracheva, who represents France.
