Trump is far from a welcome guest in New York.
Details: Last night, the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York hosted Game 3 of the NBA playoff finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio.
The event kicked off in traditional fashion with the U.S. national anthem. As the anthem played, cameras caught current U.S. President Donald Trump, and the crowd wasted no time making their feelings clear—breaking into a resounding chorus of boos that echoed through the arena.
Trump’s presence in the stands didn’t do the home team any favors either—the New York Knicks fell to San Antonio 111-115, marking the Knicks’ first defeat of the finals series.
At this point, the Knicks still lead the NBA playoff finals 2-1, with the next game set to take place in just two days at the same iconic venue.
