Prosper Ogum Rallies Kotoko Ahead of Clash With Rivals Hearts of Oak
Asante Kotoko's coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has asked his team to stay focused and follow their plan for their big game against Hearts of Oak on Sunday, December 15.
These two famous Ghanaian teams will play in a match at Baba Yara Stadium. Right now, they are very close in the league, with only one point difference. Hearts of Oak is in sixth place with 19 points, and Kotoko is in seventh with 18 points after 12 games.
Even though Kotoko has only won one of their last six games, Coach Ogum is still hopeful. He talked to the team's media and said that believing in themselves and being ready is very important:
"We should focus on ourselves. Sometimes, if we think too much about the other team, we forget about what we need to do, and that can hurt us. In this game, we need to make sure our plans, confidence, determination, and energy are ready.
But Hearts of Oak come into the match with lots of momentum because they haven't lost in their last five games.
The match, which resurrects one of Africa's most well-known football rivalries, begins at 3:00 PM GMT. Both sides will want to show off and go up in the league standings as the season becomes more exciting.
