Prominent French defender moves to Saudi Arabian club

West Ham defender Kurt Zouma will continue his career in the Saudi Arabian league.

The club Al-Oruba announced on its official website that the player has joined on a one-year loan.

The 29-year-old defender had been with West Ham since August 2021, after transferring from Chelsea for £29.8 million. Last season, the French player appeared in 33 Premier League matches, scoring three goals.

Previously, Zouma played 151 matches for Chelsea, scoring 10 goals for the "Blues." He also has 11 appearances (1 goal) for the French national team.

It's worth noting that Al-Oruba is a newcomer to the Saudi Pro League's top division.
