Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen was offered to Barcelona, but the Catalan club has no plans to pursue his signing in the near future. This was reported by Sport journalist Carlos Monfort.
According to the source, representatives of the Nigerian forward reached out to the Spanish champions’ management, as the player is eager to continue his career in one of Europe’s top leagues. However, Barcelona has decided to focus on other attacking options for now.
The main transfer target for the Catalans remains Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez. Despite the reluctance of the “Colchoneros” to part ways with the Argentine, Barcelona’s management is holding out hope that the Madrid club’s stance could change in the coming weeks.
According to Transfermarkt, the 27-year-old Osimhen has a market value of €75 million. His current contract with the Turkish club runs until the summer of 2029.
