Prince William makes his choice in Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo debate
The debate over who is better, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi, has been ongoing for the last 15 years, and over the years, not only footballers but also other celebrities have weighed in. The heir to the royal crown, Prince William, gave his answer to this question on The Beautiful Game show by The Sun.
The host of the Q&A session with William was Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings. This choice is not surprising, as it is well known that the Prince is a fan of this Birmingham club and regularly attends the home stadium to support the team.
Mings offered William a series of choices between two footballers. For example, he had to choose between Ronaldinho and Zidane, Beckham and Ronaldo, and, of course, between Messi and Cristiano.
The Prince's answer was clear—he chose the Argentine and explained his choice by noting that Leo has a World Cup victory.
William also shared a funny personal story about Cristiano. When Mings asked him which goal celebration he considered his favorite, the Prince replied that it was the famous "siuuu" of the Portuguese, and then admitted that he once even got injured trying to replicate it.
