Prestige! Toni Kroos awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order
This is an achievement not many can claim.
Details: Today at the Santiago Bernabéu, a ceremony was held to present 35-year-old former Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Toni Kroos with the Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his outstanding service to the nation.
The award was personally presented to Kroos by German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, who attended the ceremony in Madrid.

Toni Kroos represented the German national team from 2010, making 114 appearances in the national jersey, scoring 17 goals and providing 21 assists.
With Germany, Kroos also won the 2014 FIFA World Cup. In terms of club achievements for his country, Toni lifted the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup with Bayern Munich.
In July 2024, Kroos announced his retirement after his contract with Real Madrid expired.
