Premier League. Sensational defeats for Newcastle and Tottenham

The two final matches of the 15th round in the English Premier League have concluded. Everton hosted Newcastle at their home ground, while West Ham traveled to face Tottenham.

Everton - Newcastle - 3:0

In the first half, the hosts had less possession, but they proved to be much sharper in attack. Newcastle failed to pose any threat. However, Everton couldn't convert their advantage into a goal.

In the second half, it didn't take much time for the "Toffees" to secure the victory. In the 79th minute, Meklin put Everton ahead, and in the 86th minute, Doucoure doubled the hosts' lead. In injury time, Beto sealed the match by scoring the third goal - 3:0.

Everton gains 10 points and moves out of the relegation zone.

The "Spurs" took the lead as early as the 11th minute, with Cristian Romero finding the net. However, in the early stages of the second half, the guests leveled the score. Bowen equalized in the 52nd minute, and in the 74th minute, Vlasic capitalized on a defensive error by Tottenham, securing victory for West Ham.

West Ham collected 24 points, solidifying their position in ninth place. Tottenham is in fifth place with 27 points.
