Premier League clubs want Trent back! Real Madrid star delivers firm answer to January loan offers
Trent Alexander-Arnold is once again attracting attention from the Premier League! Several English clubs are reportedly interested in bringing the defender back on loan in January, but the Real Madrid star has no intention of abandoning his Spanish adventure.
Details: According to a report attributed to Spanish newspaper Marca and shared by The Touchline on October 29, multiple Premier League teams are exploring a possible January loan for Alexander-Arnold. However, the England international wants to remain at Real Madrid and fight for his place. No formal loan offer or agreement between clubs has been confirmed.
The former Liverpool defender has struggled to establish himself as an undisputed starter since moving to Madrid in 2025. Competition for places and questions about his defensive performances have complicated his adaptation to Spanish football. His situation has attracted renewed interest from clubs in England.
Earlier reports linked Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea with the 28-year-old. However, their interest does not necessarily mean negotiations are underway. Alexander-Arnold remains determined to prove himself and believes he can succeed at the Santiago Bernabéu rather than seek regular playing time elsewhere.
It's worth noting that the defender's contract with Real Madrid runs until June 2031. The Spanish club has not announced plans to loan him out, and a January departure remains uncertain. For now, the player's priority is earning the trust of the coaching staff and securing a more important role.
Reminder: Expected? Will Trent Alexander-Arnold leave Real Madrid as early as January?
