The 2025/26 English Premier League season is nearing its conclusion, and one club has decided to part ways with its manager.
Details: As officially confirmed by Burnley, head coach Scott Parker has left his position. The decision was made by mutual agreement between both parties. Mike Jackson will take charge as interim manager.
Burnley also announced that the process of appointing a new permanent head coach for the 2026/27 season has already begun.
Burnley currently sit second from bottom in the Premier League table. They have collected 20 points from 34 matches and are certain to be relegated from England’s top flight.
Reminder: A Liverpool legend is currently being considered as Burnley’s next head coach in the event of Scott Parker’s departure.
