Chelsea hosted Crystal Palace in the ongoing Boxing Day matches in the English Premier League on Wednesday, December 27, and Wolverhampton traveled to Brentford.

Thirteen minutes later, a Crystal Palace player played carelessly in his own penalty area, and the referee awarded a penalty. Madueke, who earned the penalty, took the shot and scored.

Chelsea won with a minimal score of 2-1, earned 25 points, and climbed to tenth place in the Premier League standings.
