Premier League announces nominees for best save and goal in December

The English Premier League has announced the names of the contenders for the best goal and save of the past month.

Eight players are up for the award for the best goal scorer in December - Odegor (Arsenal), McCallister (Liverpool), Endo (Liverpool), McAteer (Sheffield), Wilson (Fulham), Welbeck (Brighton), Estupinyan (Brighton) and Palmer (Chelsea).

Six goalkeepers are up for the award for the best save of the month - Foderingham (Sheffield Wednesday), Allison (Liverpool), Henderson (Crystal Palace), Pickford (Everton), Vicario (Tottenham) and Petrovic (Chelsea).

As a reminder, the Premier League also announced the nominees for the best coach and player in December.
