In Matchweek 16 of the English Premier League, Chelsea are hosting Everton. Cole Palmer, back in the Blues' starting lineup after a lengthy injury spell, is still searching for his top form.
In the 21st minute, Chelsea's talisman made his presence felt: slipping in behind the defenders, Palmer latched onto a pass from Gusto and fired a shot into Pickford's near post. Notably, this is Palmer's first goal in almost three months and his third strike of the current campaign.
Palmer's previous goal came against Bayern Munich in the Champions League on September 17, also assisted by Gusto. His last Premier League goal before tonight was on September 13 against Brentford.
