The draw for the 2025 Club World Cup, which took place on Thursday evening in Miami, paved the way for exciting matches, including possible matches between Arab teams. The tournament, which will feature 32 teams for the first time, is scheduled to be held in the United States from June 15 to July 13, 2025.
Five Arab teams—Al Ain (UAE), Al Hilal (Saudi Arabia), Al Ahly (Egypt), Esperance (Tunisia), and Wydad Casablanca (Morocco)—are among the contenders in this expanded edition.
The group stage guarantees at least one Arab clash, as Wydad and Al Ain are drawn together in Group G. According to the tournament's format, the winner of Group G will face the runner-up of Group H and vice versa, potentially setting up another Arab duel involving Al Hilal.
Depending on their group rankings, Al Ahly and Esperance could face off in the quarterfinals as the knockout stages progress. There may also be an all-Arab semifinal or final, demonstrating the region's power on the international front.
The tournament promises high-stakes battles, with Arab fans eager to see their teams excel in this historic competition.
