Portuguese fans booed Franck Ribéry after Nations League final. It's all about Ronaldo

Bayern legend Franck Ribéry faced a chorus of boos from Portuguese fans following the Nations League final. The incident was caught on fan cameras and quickly spread across social media.
Ribéry was in attendance at Munich's Allianz Arena for the showdown between Portugal and Spain in the Nations League final. After the match ended, the Frenchman decided to leave the press box and head to the stands, where he was spotted by Portuguese supporters who immediately began to jeer him.
This reaction stems from an ongoing feud between Ribéry and Cristiano Ronaldo. Recently, the Portuguese superstar stated that the Ballon d'Or should go to the leader of the team that wins the Champions League.
That remark drew a sarcastic response from Franck Ribéry, who posted on social media: "So, to win the Ballon d'Or you have to win the Champions League?"—complete with laughing emojis. The Frenchman was referencing 2013, when he lifted the Champions League trophy with Bayern but saw the Ballon d'Or awarded to Ronaldo instead.
Now, Portuguese fans have decided to answer Ribéry for his critical comments about their idol.
