Portugal national team rising star heads to top Italian club

Italian giants AC Milan are pushing forward in their bid to strengthen the squad, eyeing a transfer for a Portugal national team player.
Details: According to insider Nicolò Schira, AC Milan have reached a personal agreement with Benfica’s 22-year-old central defender, Antonio Silva. Should he make the move to the Italian powerhouse, Silva will sign a contract running until 2031. Milan are now preparing an official transfer offer for the Portuguese club.
In the 2025/26 season, Antonio Silva featured in one match for Benfica, netting a goal and providing an assist, while also making his debut for Portugal’s national team. Transfermarkt currently values him at 25 million euros.
