Portugal does not want to lose Ronaldo: FPF fears serious consequences if he leaves
Ronaldo's impact is simply immense.
Details: In Portugal, there is growing concern over the possible end of Cristiano Ronaldo's international career. According to GOAL, the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) is determined to do everything in its power to ensure the legendary forward does not announce his departure from the national team.
The federation has already been warned that, should Ronaldo leave, the national squad could face a significant drop in fan interest, as well as lose a substantial portion of its commercial revenue and media attention.
One of the leading sports marketing experts believes that the FPF needs to prepare a new strategy for developing the national team's brand in advance, in order to minimize the impact of the potential departure of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Nevertheless, the federation is counting on convincing Ronaldo to continue representing Portugal and is ready to make every possible effort to keep the main star of Portuguese football.
