Terem Moffi is ready to restart his career after FC Porto agreed a deal with OGC Nice for the Nigeria forward, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Portuguese club have secured a loan move with a non-mandatory option to buy, reportedly worth around €8m. Transfer insider Fabrice Hawkins confirmed the agreement is now in place, with the 26-year-old expected in Porto soon for a medical.

Porto beat competition from several clubs, including Besiktas, who offered a bigger salary package. Interest also came from France and Scotland, but Moffi chose Portugal and the chance to work under coach Francesco Farioli.

Moffi has not played for Nice since 30 November and managed only two goals in 10 league games this season. Now, Porto offers him a fresh opportunity to shine again.
