Pop icon Madonna made a surprise appearance at London's Stamford Bridge to watch the second leg between Chelsea and Poland's Legia in the Conference League quarterfinals.

Television cameras caught the star singer in the stands, where she was seated in one of the luxurious VIP boxes.

It's worth noting that if Madonna was supporting the English team, she left the stadium in a less than cheerful mood, as Chelsea lost to Legia 1-2. Given their 3-0 victory in the first leg, this didn't matter much for the Londoners, but a loss is a loss and it doesn't lift spirits.

Additionally, Chelsea has advanced to the Conference League semifinals, where they will face Sweden's Djurgården. The first match between these teams will be played on May 1st in Sweden, with the return leg set for May 8th in London.

Chelsea is also continuing its fight in the Premier League, where the Londoners are battling for a spot in next season's Champions League. Currently, the Blues are in 6th place in the standings, trailing Manchester City, who hold the crucial 5th spot, by 1 point.
