Sources indicate that the Newport Beach police are investigating allegations against Oklahoma player Josh Giddey, who is suspected of having a relationship with an underage girl named Liv Cook. Law enforcement is conducting a thorough examination of the accusations to determine whether he indeed had a relationship with a minor.

NBA spokesperson Mike Bass stated that the league is also looking into the allegations of improper relationships with minors involving player Josh Giddey. It is noteworthy that both the player and the head coach, Mark Daigneault, have declined to comment.

Recall that photos and videos of the basketball player with a girl named Liv Cook were posted online. According to information from Newport Harbor High School's magazine from October 2022, Liv Cook is still a high school student in California.

Josh Giddey, currently 21 years old, plays as a shooting guard. He was selected in the first round as the sixth overall pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2021 NBA Draft. Giddey holds the distinction of being the youngest player to record a triple-double in an NBA game at the age of 19 years and 84 days.
