Police have arrested the Europa League winner. It is known what he is accused of
Valencia are not enviable at the start of the season. ‘Bats’ for four rounds have scored only one point, and then the main forward has been arrested.
We are talking about Valencia striker Rafa Mira, who was arrested by law enforcement officials on Monday night. The 27-year-old footballer, according to Cadena SER, is charged with an offence of sexual assault.
The alleged offence took place on Sunday at a party at Mira's home against two women around 25 years old. The victims contacted police and also required medical attention.
A statement was also issued by Valencia, who did not give details of the incident but confirmed Mira's arrest and said he would co-operate with the investigation.
The 27-year-old forward only recently moved to the Bats on loan from Sevilla, with whom he won the Europa League in 2023.
