Poland will play in the final of the Olympic volleyball tournament for the first time in 48 years

On Wednesday, August 7, the semi-final match of the men's volleyball tournament at the Olympics took place. The Polish national team played against the USA.

The Poles started the game better, taking the first set and leading the match 1-0. The Americans managed not only to equalize, but also to take the lead by winning the next two sets.

The fourth set was incredibly tense, and Poland emerged victorious, tying the match. The game then moved to a deciding set, where the Poles once again proved stronger, winning the crucial set 15-13.

As a result, Poland advanced to the final of the men's volleyball tournament at the 2024 Olympics. This marks their first final appearance in 48 years. The last time Poland played in the final was in 1976, when they won the gold medals.
