Poland has announced its preliminary squad for Euro 2024. Does it include Lewandowski?


Poland head coach Michał Probierz has decided on a wide list of players who will take part in the Kadra's June friendlies. The list includes 29 players, but only 26 of them will be included in the team's final bid for the European Championship.
- Goalkeepers: Wojciech Szczęsny (Juventus), Marcin Bulka (Nice), Oliwier Zych (Puszcza Niepołomice), Łukasz Skorupski (Bologna)
- Defenders: Jan Bednarek (Southampton), Bartosz Bereszyński (Empoli), Paweł Bochniewicz (Heerenveen), Jakub Kiwior (Arsenal), Bartosz Salamon (Lech Poznań), Tymoteusz Puchacz (Kaiserslautern), Paweł Dawidowicz (Verona), Sebastian Walukiewicz (Empoli).
- Midfielders: Przemysław Frankowski (Lens), Kamil Grośicki (Pogoń Szczecin), Jakub Moder (Brighton), Taras Romanczuk (Jagiellonia Białystok), Damian Szymanski (AEK), Michał Skóraś (Brugge), Nikola Załewski (Roma), Jakub Piotrowski (Ludogorets), Bartosz Slisz (Atlanta), Sebastian Szymański (Fenerbahce), Kacper Urbański (Bologna), Piotr Zieliński (Napoli).
- Forwards: Adam Buksa (Antalyaspor), Arkadiusz Milik (Juventus), Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona), Krzysztof Piątek (Başakşehir), Kamil Swiderski (Verona).
Updated: Oliwier Zych was injured during the training camp and instead of him, goalkeeper of Stal Mielec Mateusz Kochalski was called.
Aston Villa defender Matty Cash, who was previously reported to miss Euro 2024 due to injury, was not included in the squad.
Before the start of the European Championship, the Polish national team will play two friendly matches - against Ukraine on 7 June and Turkey on 10 June. Just before the game with the "blue-yellow" Kadra must submit the final list of 26 players who will play at the European Championship.
