What Makhoye had to say about the players!
Orbit has proven to be a key development ground for emerging talent, with several of their players earning moves to Orlando Pirates. Among them are Gomolemo Khoto, who was developed at Orbit before signing with Pirates, and Siyabulela Mabele, another Orbit product now on loan. Additionally, Ndumiso Ngiba, a Pirates player, is also currently on loan.
The club takes pride in nurturing these young players, acknowledging the competitive environment at a big team like Pirates. "We have to be realistic—Pirates have many talented youngsters," said a representative. "But giving these boys opportunities is crucial. Mabele, for instance, has been impressive, scoring consistently this season, while Khoto has netted six goals."
The progress of these players reflects Orbit’s success in developing future stars. "Seeing Pirates sign players like Mabele and Khoto from us is a testament to our work. These young talents are thriving, and we’re proud to contribute to their growth."
