Yesterday, it was revealed that Paul Pogba will soon return to football, as his suspension has been reduced from four years to 18 months. The midfielder still has an active contract with Juventus but plans to terminate it.

Details: According to the new ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Pogba will be eligible to return to the pitch as early as March next year, and he can resume training as soon as January.

However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba does not intend to return to Juventus. Instead, he plans to mutually terminate his contract with the club and continue his career in the United States.

It is not yet confirmed which club Pogba will join. There is speculation he could head to Inter Miami, where stars like Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets play. Alternatively, another MLS team might pursue him to rival David Beckham's side.

Quote: "Finally, this nightmare is over," Pogba said after yesterday's CAS ruling.

"After the decision, I look forward to the day I can once again chase my dreams.

I have always maintained that I never knowingly broke the World Anti-Doping Agency’s rules, as I took a dietary supplement prescribed by a doctor that does not affect male athletes’ performances or give them any advantage.

I play fair, and while I acknowledge this as an infraction that carries strict responsibility, I would like to express my gratitude to the CAS judges who heard my explanations.

This has been an extremely troubling period for me, as everything I worked so hard for was put on hold.

Thank you again for all the love and support. I can't wait to get back on the pitch."

Reminder: Paul Pogba has had an impressive career, playing pivotal roles in both Juventus and Manchester United's attack. His contract with Juventus is set to run until 2026, and his last recorded market value, according to Transfermarkt (as of summer 2023), was €15 million.
