Chelsea's head coach Maurizio Pochettino has shown support for winger Raheem Sterling after the quarter-final match of the FA Cup.

Chelsea secured a hard-fought victory over the Foxes with a score of 4:2, but Sterling missed a penalty in the first half.

“Sterling? We need to support him, he's an amazing player. He has more than 10 years PL experience. The contribution was good. He was a little bit unlucky with some actions but we are a team and we need to be there for everyone”.

Regarding the game itself, the Blues' manager emphasized the need for support and trust from the fans.

“We are in a process to build. What the fans want is to go to Wembley and that we achieved. They need to trust me to manage in the way I think is the best way for the club. We need to respect their opinion as much as they need to respect my decision”, told Pochettino BBC.

After the international break, Chelsea will face Burnley in the league. The match is scheduled for March 30th.
