In the quarter-final match of the FA Cup, Chelsea hosted Leicester at Stamford Bridge.

The visitors arrived at Stamford Bridge as the leaders of the Championship, and their game leaves no doubt that we will see this team among the Premier League clubs again next season. However, the start of the match did not promise anything good for the Foxes. After Cucurella's goal, Sterling missed a penalty, and towards the end of the first half, Cole Palmer doubled the hosts' advantage.

After the break, an own goal by Disasi and a precise strike by Mavididi brought Leicester back into the game. However, they lacked a few minutes to take the match into extra time. Chukwuemeka and Madueke, who came on as substitutes in the second half, scored a goal each in injury time and left Leicester out of the tournament.
