Pochettino comments on the possibility of signing a striker in winter

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino commented on rumors regarding a possible signing of a forward in January, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
According to the coach, they will discuss this matter with the club's management, the sporting director, and, of course, the coaching staff to analyze the situation.
"If we decide to choose some players who can improve or add some qualities that we maybe don't have or maybe keep the same squad. I think we are really open," Pochettino stated.
As reported by The Telegraph, Chelsea is reportedly looking for a forward in the winter transfer window, with Napoli's Victor Osimhen being their main target. It is expected that the Nigerian player would be willing to join the London club. However, securing a deal in January might be challenging, with a price tag of over £100 million.
In yesterday's match of the thirteenth round of the Premier League, Newcastle defeated Chelsea 4-1 on their home turf. The London club conceded in the 13th minute, but an incredible strike by Sterling allowed them to equalize within ten minutes. However, in the second half, the "Magpies" decided the fate of the match by scoring three goals against the "Blues."
