In the 2023/24 season, Mauricio Pochettino was the head coach of Chelsea, but at the end of the competition, he was dismissed from this position. Now, the Argentine has commented on this situation.
Details: In an interview with Sky Sports, Mauricio stated that it was the best option for both sides. He noted that when something doesn't work, it's better to stop.
Quote: "I think that always, when something doesn't work, it's better to stop and look at different things, and I think it was the best decision for both sides. Yes, I think both sides are happy to part ways and then be open to new opportunities that will arise," Pochettino explained.
Incidentally, Chelsea is now considering selling or releasing up to 14 players as free agents. Many of them are under contract with the club but are playing on loan for other teams.
