Play-off matches for the UEFA EURO-2024. What you need to know

On Thursday, November 23, the draw for the UEFA Euro 2024 playoffs will take place. The matches themselves are scheduled for March 21 and 26, with 12 national teams vying for three coveted spots in the tournament.
Format
The twelve participants will be determined based on their performances in the 2022/23 UEFA Nations League – nominally, these will be the group winners in Leagues A, B, and C. Should any of these teams secure a EURO berth through regular qualification, the next team in line from that group will fill the playoff spot.
The remaining slots will be distributed among teams with the highest ratings that did not qualify directly for the final stage. However, winners of Groups A, B, and C cannot be drawn against each other in the playoff matchups.
Teams currently qualified for the playoff draw:
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Finland
- Georgia
- Greece
- Israel
- Luxembourg
- Poland
- Ukraine
- Iceland
- Kazakhstan
- Estonia
- Wales
