Plateau United Coach Oluwasola Adegun Urges Hard Work After Another Away Defeat

Plateau United technical adviser Oluwasola Adegun has emphasized the need for greater effort and discipline from his players following their 2–0 loss to Kun Khalifat FC in a Matchday 15 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) encounter on Sunday in Owerri.

The defeat continues the Peace Boys’ troubling pattern on the road, as they remain without a single away point this season. Adegun admitted that the match slipped away from his side after they conceded the second goal.

“The second goal changed the colour of the game against Kun Khalifat FC,” Adegun said in his post-match interview.

“For the away games, we are nowhere near what we need. The players must be willing to sacrifice a lot and work more.”

Plateau United currently sits 19th on the NPFL table with 15 points. Their next fixture offers a chance for redemption as they return home to face Warri Wolves.
