Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will wear a new shirt number for the rest of the season after Olympique de Marseille confirmed the experienced forward has switched from No. 97 to No. 17.
The move became possible after Matt O’Riley departed for Brighton & Hove Albion, freeing up the number 17 jersey that had attracted attention in recent weeks.
