Colo-Colo star Arturo Vidal is in high spirits following yet another triumph for his team in the Chilean championship. The midfielder took to Instagram to share his excitement with fans.
Vidal posted photos from the victorious match, captioning them, “Step by step 🖤🤍💪🏼🤟🏼 +3 👑.” It’s clear the Chilean is pleased that his team has finally started stringing together wins after a disappointing run, which included an early exit from the Copa Libertadores.
It’s worth noting that Colo-Colo clinched an away win over Unión La Calera last night, edging out their opponents 0-1. The match-winning goal came from none other than Arturo Vidal himself, who converted a penalty at the end of the first half.
In the league table, Colo-Colo currently sits in ninth place, trailing leaders Coquimbo Unido by nine points. However, Vidal’s squad has three games in hand, meaning they could catch up with the leaders if they win all their remaining fixtures.
For the record, this season Arturo Vidal has made 13 appearances for Colo-Colo across all competitions, scoring two goals.
