On January 14th, the 21st round of the Premier League featured a match between Everton and Aston Villa, ending in a 0-0 draw.

Ukrainian defender for the Toffees, Vitaliy Mykolenko, started the game and played the entire match, despite suffering an unpleasant injury in the early minutes of the second half.

Mykolenko collided head-to-head during an aerial duel with both an opponent and one of his teammates. Although he sustained a head injury, Mykolenko managed to return to the game and continue playing.

Additionally, in the 86th minute, the Ukrainian defender made a crucial sliding tackle inside his own penalty area, successfully blocking the opponent's shot.
