The world's number one tennis player, Iga Swiatek, has announced that she has become an ambassador for the Lancôme brand in Poland.

"I have just become the first Polish ambassador for Lancôme and the first athlete among the brand's ambassadors, alongside figures like Zendaya or Julia Roberts... It's very important to me, and I'm looking forward to this journey. Stay tuned for updates!" wrote Iga.

It's worth noting that Swiatek is also an ambassador for LEGO and Porsche.

Lancôme is a French perfume and cosmetics brand under the L'Oreal company.

This week, Iga will compete in the WTA 500 clay-court tournament in Stuttgart, Germany, where she will defend her title.

Earlier this week, the WTA rankings were updated, with Iga maintaining her position at the top.
