On March 11, the Saudi club Al Nassr was ousted from the 2023/24 AFC Champions League.

In the quarter-final showdown, the global club succumbed to Al-Ain from the UAE. In the first leg, the Emirati team triumphed 1-0, while in the second leg, the Saudi side emerged victorious 4-3 after extra time.

The fate was sealed in the post-match penalty shootout, where Al-Ain proved more accurate, prevailing 3-1.

The illustrious Portuguese forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, initially salvaged Al Nassr from defeat in the 120th minute, converting a penalty in the 118th minute to level the score at 3-3, before being the sole player to score from the spot in the post-match penalty shootout.

The cameras captured Ronaldo's emotions following the conclusion of the encounter, signifying Al Nassr's exit from the most prestigious tournament in Asia.
