PHOTO: How and Where Mourinho lives in Istanbul? It's Not a luxurious house but a Hotel!
In 2024, 61-year-old Portuguese coach José Mourinho took charge of the Turkish club Fenerbahçe, based in Istanbul.
When stars of Mourinho’s caliber arrive, not just in football but in sports in general, fans are always curious: where does this star live?
The "Special One" made a "special" decision—Mourinho turned down the club's offer to rent him a house. Instead, he opted for something simpler: hotel living.
Mourinho is staying at the Four Seasons Hotel, which was once a historical palace in Istanbul. This 5-star hotel is located on the shores of the Bosphorus and offers stunning views from the European side of the city across to the Asian part, where Fenerbahçe's stadium, Şükrü Saracoğlu, is situated.
The cost of the most basic rooms at the Four Seasons starts at £1,000 per night.
Locals note that Mourinho frequently swims in the hotel’s pool and is a regular at a nearby kebab restaurant. He enjoys the hotel's extensive amenities, including special spa treatments and traditional Turkish baths, known as hammams.
