American tennis player Shelby Rogers has announced that she has entered into matrimony.

Rogers, 31, accepted a marriage proposal from John Slavik in April. It is remarkable that they first met in 2020 on a blind date organized by mutual acquaintances.

Slavik was previously involved in collegiate-level hockey, while Rogers is a fervent enthusiast of this sport.

Currently, ranked 147th in the world among female tennis players, Shelby Rogers has reached the finals of WTA tournaments three times but has yet to secure a title. Her highest ranking to date is 30th.
