Philadelphia player hit by car

Philadelphia's attacking defender, Kelly Oubre, was struck by a car in the city center. The incident occurred on November 11th, around 7:00 PM local time. A spokesperson from his team confirmed that Oubre was walking near his home at the time of the accident.
Immediately transported to the hospital, Oubre's condition was reported as stable. Team representatives, including 76ers president Daryl Morey, were present at the hospital. Later reports indicated that Kelly was discharged from the hospital.
The Philadelphia Police, in an email to the Associated Press, revealed that Oubre was hit around 7:00 PM while crossing the street at Broad and Saranch Streets downtown. He was taken to Jefferson Hospital. Police stated that an active investigation is underway regarding the incident. Philadelphia's 6ABC channel reported that a silver car fled the scene after the accident.
His team announced that he would miss a significant portion of playing time but not the entire season. They mentioned Oubre's close collaboration with the 76ers' medical staff for treatment and care but did not provide specific details about his injuries.
Oubre joined Philadelphia from the Charlotte Hornets on a one-year contract in September. This season, he's been averaging 16.3 points and has a 50% field goal percentage for the team.
