The past weekend saw the second major of the golf season — the PGA Championship. The tournament spanned four days, from May 15 to May 18.
The winner was American Scottie Scheffler, who completed four rounds with an overall score of -11 relative to par. Even though he played at par on the final day, his rivals faltered, and that was more than enough not just to secure the victory, but to claim a commanding triumph by five strokes.
Three golfers finished tied for second at -6, while another three shared third place with a score of -5.
This marks the third major title in Scottie Scheffler's career. Remarkably, all his major wins have come since 2022: two Masters and now the PGA Championship.
